Welcome to HIPO doctoral network, a collaborative and cutting-edge research network dedicated to exploring the integrated HIgh-speed POwer systems for industry and mobile applications. Our multidisciplinary team of doctors come from a variety of backgrounds, including electrical, mechanical and material sciences, to bring a diverse perspective to our research. HIPO is a Eu MSCA Doctoral network. At HIPO doctoral network, we are passionate about pushing the boundaries of what is possible in the field of high speed and power systems.
This EU MSCA doctoral network includes 6 Universities and 5 Industry companies:
LUT University, KIT, AAU, CHALMERS, DTU and UNIPI

The Goal
- The main aim of this DN is to educate and train a group of highly skilled doctoral candidates (DCs) and with them to create methodology for optimum drive designs in transportation applications.
International collaboration: Doctors have the opportunity to collaborate with leading researchers and institutions from around the world, enhancing their research.
Interdisciplinary training: The network offers a unique training programme that combines expertise from various disciplines, enabling doctors to develop a broad range of skills and knowledge.

Our network aims to advance the understanding and development of innovative solutions for the challenges facing modern high speed and power systems, with a particular focus on mobility. Through our multidisciplinary approach, we bring together experts from science and technology fields such as engineering, physics, computer science, and mathematics. This allows us to tackle complex research questions that require a holistic understanding of the interconnected components of high speed and power systems.
